My Inspirations

As Mr Terence Fletcher (Whiplash, 2014) eloquently put “There are no two words in the English language more harmful than ‘good job'”. I believe in that. It’s the destroyer of all will to move forward, to achieve perfection, to aspire more. And to try again. It’s ok however, to feel pleased or even in awe. To acknowledge that within a certain small period of time, all fell in it’s right place. To feel, for example, so moved that one (Terence Fletcher) cannot humble his smile. Here is my collection of inspiring, genuine, vivid moments created by magical forces of the human mind.

A film has to stimulate me, make me think, leave an aftertaste and add value, in any way. Like everything else in life, it’s a matter of choice. For me, I have a specific set of guidelines that helps me choose more wisely how to fill my escapism moments, which became more and more necessary.

All he wanted was to see 3 kung fu movies with someone. Turned out it was Alabama that was destined to watch with him. Forever and ever as long as they both shall live. What made him so cool?

“I am my own master of fate” (William Ernest Henley, 1845)

I feel my life was always affected by the lenses that I used. with dark lenses dark things kept happening to me and optimistic ones attracted more of it through my path.
