“I am the master of fate”, (William Ernest Henley, 1845)
I feel my life was always affected by the lenses that I used. with dark lenses dark things kept happening to me and optimistic ones attracted more of it through my path.

Andy (The Shawshank Redemption, 1994) said that he didn’t pull the trigger but end up in jail. that was his most victim like prism. every other word and act suggested a true believer. “Bad luck I guess. floats around, gotta land on somebody. It was my turn, that’s all”. He believes, after all that had happened to him, was just a bad luck. but on the other hand, he has something to say about it. “I just didn’t expect the storm would last as long as it has”. Both of those point of views combined showed us the viewers, his prism. any other prism would’ve kept him inside the walls of Shawshank, with no redemption.

There are other forces then me that can affect the course of my life. My force however, is the only force that is in my power to control. Those prisms of reality set the target towards where I want to be. As
I see it, Andy’s point of view changed the course of his life. “I guess it all comes down to a simple choice, really. You get busy living, or get busy dying”.
